We offer a full range of CPR, First Aid and AED training programs for the general public, as well as for healthcare professionals. Whether you’re a professional rescuer, working with children, wanting to train personnel, or simply want to learn how to deal with emergency medical situations (such as cardiac arrest), we have a program for you. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a recognized CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Cardiac arrest can happen anytime and anywhere. This condition occurs when the heart stops beating, and is usually caused by a disruption in the heart’s electrical signal. Knowing how to intervene appropriately can increase the odds of survival and recovery by 30% or more. Stroke, allergic reaction, frostbite, nosebleed, seizure are only some other conditions that need immediate medical care. The 2010 Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada is co-author of the 2010 Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) in North America and the Canadian leader in resuscitation science, education and training.

The guidelines are reviewed every five years and updated only when evidence is clear that changes will improve survival rates. The 2010 guidelines are based on input from 356 resuscitation experts from 29 countries.
