Jenny Vuong is an active, licensed and registered healthcare professional in Quebec. She has more than 9 years of experience in health care. Her critical care skills are utilized on a daily basis in the emergency room (ER) and the intensive care unit (ICU). Soon after gaining knowledgeable skills and experiences in the medical and surgical fields, she was offered a teaching position at the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board in the health care programs. Jenny is also a current CPR, First Aid and AED instructor for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Quebec.

During her studies in health management, she enrolled in the Canadian Forces as an officer and continues active military service.

Jenny's teaching methods stimulate students' interest, motivation and thinking with a level of clarity that makes difficult concepts easy to understand.

All other instructors are also trained professionals by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and have experience in the medical field.

The 2010 Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada is co-author of the 2010 Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) in North America and the Canadian leader in resuscitation science, education and training.

The guidelines are reviewed every five years and updated only when evidence is clear that changes will improve survival rates. The 2010 guidelines are based on input from 356 resuscitation experts from 29 countries.
